Casa da São (Sao’s Home) is situated between the municipalities of Alandroal and Reguengos de Monsaraz, just minutes away from   monuments, like the Castles of Monsaraz, Alandroal, Terena and Juromenha, and from the Alqueva dam, the biggest artificial lake in Europe.
      
150 years ago, Casa da Sao was an ancient lodge where goldsmiths and fabric vendors, who sold their products throughout various regions of the Alentejo, would spend the night.
